Question by USMC9013: Does the droid bionic work with a MacBook Pro?
I am thinking about switching from my BlackBerry to the Droid Bionic. I really like the fact that the Droid can pull files from your desktop remotely, but I have a MacBook Pro and don’t own a PC. Is the Droid Bionic compatible with Macs? Thanks for any help you can offer.

I would suspect that it likely won’t work (or not work as well) with a mac…as most stuff that is made is made mainly for pc users without us mac user’s in mind, for example…our macs can run windows….but a windows pc that is made to run OS X…(that’s not hacked) you won’t find one….
I have a blackberry too, and it’s mad to work with macs, I tried it, and had a lot of problems, although I did get it to work on my mac but poorly.

I recommend you specifically ask the sales person who you want to buy the droid from and even asking an apple sales person about it, too…Best Buy sells both droid and apple products, so you could go there, play question and answer and then find your final answer.
As for me…I would rather wait and get an iphone 5…there will be a lot more wireless functionally coming along in the very near future starting with iOS 5 next month :)

Question by : Is it best to go with the HTC Thunderbolt or wait longer for the Droid Bionic?
I am currently stuck between going with the HTC Thunderbolt or the Droid Bionic. Apparently the Thunderbolt has more RAM than the Bionic, but the Bionic with be featuring a dual-processor. Is the RAM or processor more important in a smart phone? If the Bionic is better is it worth the wait or is it best to go with the HTC. This will be my first smartphone and I would greatly appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Droid all the way!!!! HTC’s androids are wanna be Droids. Nothing beats Motorola Droids.

Wrong dude. If the Droid Bionic does really have “bad functions” Then go for the Droid X :) Droid X is awesome and has mostly great reviews! Droid Bionic is still getting builded, Droid haters may say it malfunctions to make Motorola look bad. You may never know….. But go for Droids dude! :D

If I have the Verizon Motorola Droid Bionic, along with the unlimited data plan, do I get mobile hotspot for free or do I still have to pay a month for it?

No you will still have to pay to use the hotspot feature.

Other way is to buy an app called PDAnet or root the phone and get Barnacle.

For more news on the Bionic, check out pdog.ws After nine months of leaks and blurry pictures, the Motorola DROID Bionic is finally here. Featuring a completely new design, the flagship 4G LTE smartphone offers a 1 GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch qHD display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording capabilities, a front-facing shooter, large 1735 mAh battery, and Android 2.3 with Motorola’s custom UI. It bridges the gap between Verizon’s high-end, dual-core 3G lineup and their 4G (but underpowered) group. It’s available now for 9.99 with a two-year contract. Even though it’s way late, the DROID Bionic is still an impressively spec’d device, but the market is moving much faster than it was in January. Is it worth dropping the cash for now, or should you wait on other high-end Verizon Android phones like the Nexus Prime? We’ll debate it. Part 1 of 2.
