slavery became an issue in 1863 only 6% of the south owned slaves almost every man in the south fought 87 yrs. slavery flew under the us flag 4 yrs. under the csa flag and the country that drove the indians from their home lands the us the country that went and got slaves the us tell me which flag represents slavery now and five slave states stayed in the union Missouri, west virginia, maryland, delaware,and kentucky so i believe that it was not about slavery
