@plwl19 probably won’t call it the iPhone 5 since the iPhone 4 was technically the 5th iPhone to be released. besides, Apple doesn’t trend to call many releases by it’s number aside from their iOS releases. so, no; i doubt the next iPhone generation will be called the “iPhone 5″. it would be more likely that it will be something along the lines of the new 4G communications since that is the new milestone in the phone industry along with LTE on Verizon.
@SlackintoshHD They will eventually come out with the Iphone 5 no? TROLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
@plwl19 it’s not the iPhone 5. it’s the iPhone 4S. if you want to get technical, it’s the iPhone 6.
@TheLadedaman Yes, the Motorola DROID Bionic certainly has all those attributes. I don’t know how badly you need a phone, but Verizon will have a couple of awesome phones coming up in the next 3-4 weeks or so.

do you recommend this phone to someone who wants a phone with no lag time, fast internet speeds, a nice display, and good camera?
@virtualcrush I never woulda thought of that… you should be in marketing!
Bob at Wirefly
@wirefly Tattoo on your hand?
o…and the phone comes without headphones??
Whats best:the samsung galaxy s2 or the droid bionic?
Need an answer quickly!!
@xFl1p1nPr1D3x For a person who has never owned a phone to get the Bionic as a first phone… that’s like a person who has never owned a car starting with a Porsche 911 Turbo. I suggest that you start with a DROID X2 or a DROID Incredible 2. If you want 4G, start with the Pantech Breakout. But the Bionic is a nice phone with lots of power, so go for it if you want to start at the top.
Bob at Wirefly
@wirefly Is there any other phone you would reccomend to someone (For a person who has never owned one) other than the Bionic?
i think i might buy this phone
This phone looks awesome! But, it’s not as great as it looks! Get the droid 3!!!
@itsmeadin The Motorola DROID Bionic is MUCH more powerful than the Motorola Triumph. The Triumph is a decent Android phone and it is a great way to save on the monthly cost. But it’s not in the same league as the Bionic from a power and class standpoint. You’re going to have to decide which way to go… I completely understand about keeping the monthly costs low. Don’t blow the rent on a costly cell phone!
Bob at Wirefly
should i get this phone or should i get a motorola triumph and save like $40 a month??
@bigbaseballs1125 Nahhh… there’s gotta be a few more places we can show Wirefly. Maybe I should ask viewers here for suggestions.
Bob at Wirefly
Think you have Wirefly all over your video enough?
@tylerheartsallie Apple is incredible for having some of the most over rated devices in the world and they make stupid amounts of money for this. They are nothing special they just make easy to use devices that are not better then the Bionic. MANY people give Apple way too much credit. They cant even come up with there own ideas.
@graeme127 I don’t know. You might try asking an Austrailian-based telecom company or a vendor that services Australia.
Bob at Wirefly
is it available in australia
@pyro74boy as stubborn as i am to keep away from anything appl because i hate following fanboys, apple has incredible engineering.
Ill keep my TB thank you
That is an ugly phone. I like big phones, but not this one. I will stick with the Photon.
@IamAmazing2011 I have a two-part review of the DROID Bionic that I plan to upload in the next couple of hours. The second part covers speed and gaming, so you’ll have to wait a little longer for it to be loaded. The latest it will be ready is tomorrow morning.
Bob at Wirefly
how is this phone in speed and gaming?
I tried the bionic in the verizon store yesterday, and, used the stock browser on the phone and WAS NOT impressed. For example, going to southparkstudios website, i wanted to test flash. Browser kept forcing me to use the mobile version, I couldn’t click on the desk site option. I was basically having flashbacks of verizon shoving “their” version of the browser on us. Can you download an alternate browser from Android market? I’m new to the android scene.
If this was on sprint I would definitely buy it… But since it’s on verizon and they don’t have an unlimited plan, I’m gonna wait a couple days and get the epic 4g touch that does the same thing but it’s $100 cheaper
its was said that google might by moto mobility …if it does happen @Jmanmadness23 that would gi Motorola a bit of and edge in development
A phone that finally beat the droid x
Looks good but I think it is best to wait at least until Halloween to see what has changed.
@Jmanmadness23 *I’m
I’ve waited for this phone, I just bought one, and I’ happy with my decision. After a successful 2 years with my OG Droid, I am sticking with Moto. Sure I’d prefer stock android but w/e dual-core and 4G on Verizon, leggo.
Damn i really need to get my ass a job!
looks like a solid device but just way too late to the game, it’s just an Atrix for Verizon. I’d say wait for the Nexus/Droid Prime before putting down 300 bucks on this device (or just wait for a deal to like 200 or 100)
@l00neyxCuz Galaxy S and S II don’t have notification LED’s, and they’re doing fine.
@TooBIG and the iphone 5 is an iphone 4 on sterioids, and a galaxy s2 is a fascinate on sterioids.
Just wait for the HTC Vigor in october. Gonna be wayy better. 1.5Ghz dual core processor 1GB or RAM and I think the main camera is gonna be like a 10mp camera but not sure. HTC is better than motorola anyways IMO.
thats a pretty screen
@Rzm1986 almost all android have LEDs for notifications, its necessary. So I’m guessing yes haha
Looks bad ass
I will wait intel the next big hit
@supermanthathoe100 4g is up to and usualy ten times faster than 3g . dual core is fast as hell lol
Does the bionic have an LED indicator for notifications like the original Droid?
To Me its a Droid x on steroids…
IM SO GETTING THIS WHEN IT COMES OUT!
Get a galaxy s2
I hope motorola make more designs
I am thinking about getting this phone, I don’t know much about smart phones so what is it that is so good about having 4G + Dual core?
The phone is sexy
Nice review
By now the phone is irrelevant ..at least imo. Nexus prime on Verizon ..and or Galaxy S2.
