Game is just trying to be realistic for what it is (at least from what I can see from trailer) and not look like some Hollywood crap where everything turns up to be fine.
I also wish we can kill kids in Skyrim (it would make it into a much better game).

I had to rewatch it to see why she was on the grass… I didn’t realize the first time i watched it that she had become a zombie and tried to eat her father… This was a powerful trailer. Kudos to the creators!

How about a Free Roam online Massively multiplayer zombie game, where you have to eat,sleep, and drink to survive. You will have to board windows and survive with friends, and if you do unfortunately fall to the undead, you become one until you are cured.
