@Ennzo51Mr It’s about both. Bono is a deeply religious Christian who works references to Jesus in most of his songs. Yes part of the song is definitely about MLK (he may even be the main subject of the song) but he’s definitely comparing his martyrdom to that of Jesus. The line “one man betrayed with a kiss” is quite obviously a reference to the story of Judas’s betrayal of Jesus to the romans. So yeah, the song’s about both.
