Martin Luther King and Malcolm X Debate @Rfishercap23 Follow me
Video Rating: 4 / 5
Walter Cronkite had almost finished broadcasting the “CBS Evening News” when he received word of Martin Luther King’s assassination. His report detailed the shooting and the nation’s reaction to the tragedy. (CBSNews.com)

@jmz215 are u really that dumb??? I have to show u where the Gov is suppose to prect its ppl??
OK, the Gov set up the Police, which is to protect its citizens, isn’t that what the police is for? & the Military, will not just allow other country to hurt its citizens will they? Isn’t the Gov in control of the Military? Firefighters protect us too.
Lincoln: and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth. Again, are u really that dumb???
@zOMGLaserGunzPewPew You can’t compare the actions of foreign aggressors to that of the local populace. Two things prove your train of thought wrong. 1) The Patriot act: which was accomplished more than the terrorists could have ever hoped. 2) The Revolution.
@TempeChiropractor
MLK was a stooge for the corrupt establishment. He had no ethical compass. Malcolm X, on the other hand was a self-made man who hit rock bottom after his arrest during his young adult years and then proceeded to remake himself into a pious, disciplined man of intellect.
Martin Luther King was a phony like Jacklyn Kennedy confirmed. Conversely, Malcolm X was the real deal who understood that only the black community could solve it’s own problems by breaking away from the web of corruption which characterized the U.S. government.
@zOMGLaserGunzPewPew I don’t think he was stupid…
@jmz215 Yeah, the terrorists sure got their demands met with violence. Now there is even more military bases and soldiers in Arab countries.
Malcom X is a stupid fuck. If white people were as cruel as he thinks there would be no black people left in the U.S.
@XrisSmiles Show me where it says the government is supposed to protect it’s citizens? The government is supposed to protect and defend the constitution.
The Constitution was written to spell out the limits of the government in an effort to protect the people from it’s government. Not so the government could protect it’s people.
For instance if you google “police no obligation to protect” and see what the Supreme court has to say about government’s duty to protect you.
This debate is Kinda Pointless, being the fact, thats “Pre Micah ” Malcom X.
“Post Micha” Malcom X would certainly not disagree so much with MLK. As they did come together at one point.
@jmz215 Well news to you, the Gov is suppose to protect its citizens, thats what Gov is about. So, why would they not look to the Gov for change???
Thats why the Constitution was written…
Hahahahahahahaha…in 50 years this film will have deteriorated to the point where all the jiggabooz will be indistinguishable…hahahahahahahahaha
@rbiznezz2 so ghettos, unlawful prosecutions ect, was his plan all along?
he should have let people fight for their right.
@cagnazzo82 a black president? the are just using obama he doesn’t run shit what has obama changed in black communities?
@vavan100 yeah, sure. thats why he’s still here living fat off of his riches! smh …. no, he didnt sell out anyone ….
MLK sold out his brothers and sisters.
@krypt01 And yet you felt the need to respond. Fail.
@ephesians527 The government is not the people and it can never be the people. Change could have arisen through local businesses server black people. They shouldn’t have excluded white people but striven to include them. Boycotts worked and sit-ins but government rules allowed for government violence. I’m not saying it would have been easier to come. It’s always easier to ask the gov to use violence. It’s harder to work around the gov. one way breeds resentment the other evolution.
@jmz215 You are close, you are missing the point. Malcolm X and MLK were striving change overall, not just within government. But obviously when a government is sicking dogs and shoot peaceful civilians, then there is something wrong within the people. This isn’t an issue of militany vs. non-violence, this is an issue of how to defend oneself. And non-violence cannot be ignored nor has it been ignored, MLK and Ghandi have been quite successful!
@jmz215 you are ignored
@jmz215 – your creating a “ying yang” concept that to an extent is accurate.
What you’re pointing out is true of all revolutionary changes – i.e. the loyalists vs the revolutionists in the late 1700s. There are those who want change and those who want things to stay the same. Among each group there are those with different ideas on how to get it done. MLK had the best ideas and his ideas won thank God.
Read his autobiography for yourself, he finished it literally weeks before he was murdered by Nation of Islam thugs for saying they should get along with with whites, and that Elijah had several babies via affairs and should be removed.
@tacomadc yea……thats why he founded an organization that did not allow white people in it “Muslim Mosque Inc.”……post nation of islam Malcom was fostered by the malcom that was bred by the nation of islam. U love malcom, then u love elijah…that simple
race will always be an issue….deal with it!!
Malcolm X changed his views later – he was here just spouting Nation of Islam tripe, but later on said whites and blacks had to get on with each other, and criticized their leader – they killed him for it. Hats off to both men.
usa killed those guys
@871yt What Gospel are you reading?
@clouser67 “Conversational terrorism.” I like that!
@SportsNation730 Yeah you’re right. I mean, what does a black guy who millions of people listen to daily on the radio and raps about the ghetto, money, hoes and bitches have to do with black history and rights and progression? Lil Wayne and his crew are totally not influential right? Damn nigga, if you don’t catch my sarcasm in this you’re fucking DUMB.
@chicagogurl630 I still demand an apology for insulting me. And you were the one who was against insulting people. Oh, the irony.
@m5p944 We are the most violet people in the world yet we were made slaves to be whipped, worked to death, and raped by the white man?
