i was on the disney cruise in the middle of ocean during the hurricane. it cancelled castaway cay AND the bahamas was ruined. i think everyone should pitch in and help those in need.

@TheGoodalpha One of the greatest myths from environmentalists is that our environment is fragile. Too many people think humans are far more powerful than nature. I’ve even seen scientists claim science knows more than nature & how nature is flawed. Nature has it’s own rules & they can rarely be classified and put in logical order. You talk about natural equilibrium, but that is not an absolute, It is in constant motion with infinite variables. The earth can’t be put into a nice neat box. Thomas
@TheGoodalpha Geo-domes built just for them? That’s a bit fanciful. They don’t want to simply survive. Actually they have several values and money is not at the top. Most important is their social standing and the power they wield. They can’t have that in a Geo-dome. They need civilization to survive. They may allow quite a bit of destruction, but they are also very careful not to cause a collapse. I foresee the eventual elimination of oil, but I don’t see oil as threatening our existence.Thomas

But if you wish to give it importance that is certainly your privilege. No matter how much effort a person puts into understanding something there is always volumes more to learn. No matter how convinced you are of something, you’re not going to be able to convinced everyone of it. So it makes no sense to get upset with people. Thomas
