My sister drove a 1998 camry model and lost control of the car. Then comes a 3 ton truck and hit her on the driver side and she walked away with no injuries. Today I am still driving a camry and it never gave me problems
When the 2007 Camry came out it took on a new bolder look, this new model canceled that effort. I love Camries period, but this look is so disappointing I seriously believe Ford will be capturing more of the Toyota market in the future. The design team at Toyota appears to be replaced by Hasbro toy designers.
@fp3shb Actually, child…The S60 is Camry everywhere. This Camry design has been in the works for 3 years.
@b67717 Um they do. The L comes with a standard Manual.
THE SE is a very very nice model
Kinda looks like fusion and forte front end nice car though.
I wish Toyota could start making manual transmission Camries in the future.
Now, I didn’t want to disappoint, but the new Camry has changed throughout the years, Toyota has once again done a great job on the exterior, interior, but the one thing that I don’t like about the new Camry is that they don’t have it in manual transmission, that counts for all of the 2011-2012 Camries.
I didnt like the new camry at first but then i saw the new se and i thought it looked really nice and the interior looked like a huge improvement over the old model
This one is a very solid redesign, but the ’92-’96 is still EPIC!
The previous Camry was nice, the one before that was okay, this one I’m starting to see myself in.
I cannot stand the rear end. The taillights are literally identical to the Scion’s, except the Toyota has the overhangs on the truck opening. Also, it is Volvo S60 everywhere in the back.
look so uglyyyy.yyyy.. … but reliable …LOL…
0:08 Camry does 0-60 in 2 sec
Still the best car on the road. Excellent job Toyota!
Happy to see they worked well on this model, the 07-11 models were junk. However, I must say that the rear end looks like a Subaru Outback/Legacy.
they solves the “steering wheel vibrate when brake” problems???
I kinda like it. and you people STILL bitched about the steering. Get over it.
The grill reminds me of the Acura tsx.
Never buy a Toyota or other Japanese cars because they have been tainted with a large dose of Fukushima Plutonium-238, 239 and 240 which are highly radioactive with longest half lives of all kinds of radiation. Effects include higher rates of cancer, infertility and sperm damage.
ugly
I think it’s a little more appealing now, especially the SE model.
I like the new camry..especially the interior is now much better and looks higher quality than old one..disappointed that they have not changed the exterior much which is kind of strange..overall I will take it
that car is going to look extremely dated in a few years. they did absolutely nothing to the exterior, it is still a biggie sixed corrola, wich means nobody will see it and think, “is that the new camry? i gotta have one of those!’ they will think “its a car. it is a form of transportation.” considering the steady slide in sles the camry as been having for years now and the new cars from ford, chevy and hyundai, this old pos isnt going to be on top for long.
it is still an old fart car but hey this niche market is not the trendy crowd.
@ 3:19, Dinner’s done!
@ytj22 Oh man! Canada has everything! XD
@FanOfToyotas
Camry base has it with upgrade package. Either way, the pricing of this car makes it a value leader. I don’t think we could say that about the 2011 model. This car seems to be better in every way.
@ytj22 Then dats Canada
USA is a bit different
And not only Camry Hybrid LE doesnt have navi, Camry Base doesnt either (well, I dunno in Canada)
@FanOfToyotas Not in Canada my friend. Even the LE with upgrade package has navi. Until the hybrid gets here, there is only 1 packagae that doesn’t have navi. And even in the US that’s a lot of models with Navi. For those who were wondering when you would see navi in more and more cars, I guess we have our answer. Other automakers will follow this now.
@ytj22 The navigation isn’t equipped on almost every model. Those models just have touch screen audio, not navigation. Navigation is only available on Camry SE,XLE,Hybrid XLE
@toyota4life94 the 2002-06 camry had cup holder holders too
Can Toyota stop been cheap? It does have something new looks fancy on dashboard, but look at the cup holder next to gear! Look at the back seats and the key which the man holding,looks so cheap!! I’ll always a fan to Honda on this level family cars.
@zakyum
Dear Toyota,
Thanks for decontenting the cup holder cover but making navigation standard on nearly every model of camry. Really? Cup holder cover? It’s a good day for Toyota when you’re chiming in about the cup holder cover…
@lexusES350h the previous gen seemed like it was still stuck in the 90s, they really did great this time around.
How does the back of it look
@nateriesen The 07-11 Camry had cup holder covers.
@waham000
بس بو جميل بجيبه نفس الموصفات
سياره رووعه , مواصفات خياليه لا تتوفر في الافالون ايضا
شكرا ع المقطع
@zakyum I stand corrected sir!!!
I like the HYBRID 2012 TOYOTA CAMRY.. great MPG 41 city.39 highway
Best camry to date. I didn’t like the 07-11 ones. They were too curvey. interior in my opinion is like an avalon! A stunner.
@zakyum Don’t you think the new Camry is good?
@zakyum Don’t you think the new Camry is good?
CORROLLA
@PeterGriffin4200 if u say so
Who cares about cup holders having covers? The point is that the new Camry is stylish and well made.
@zakyum We haven’t had the cup-holders covered on Camry since ’06.
The decontenct that I found was the one-touch up & down on the windows and the LED tail lights. Two things that i really won’t miss all that much. True, express windows are cool as are the rear LEDs….but they’re not deal breakers. If you look at the steering wheel, the trim around the shifter, the material on the dash-board….the windows and tail lights are easily forgotten
